This is where it starts.
This is the scariest page. When you're ready, drop me a line using the form below.

I'll get back to you to schedule a free, no-commitment 15 minute consultation (I find phone is best for this, but you'll have the chance to choose a different option if that works better for you!).

In that chat, you'll be able to fill me in on what has generally been going on for you (emphasis on "generally," because it would be disrespectful and maybe dangerous to share too many personal details, or get flooded with emotion/memories right away!), ask me questions to make sure I'm the best fit for your needs, and hopefully even a few things you might try in the meantime to get started!

Cost
My standard rate is $140/session, though I can negotiate a sliding scale for those in need-I strongly believe no one should go broke to improve the quality of their lives!

I also accept many insurance providers, however I would suggest potential clients should contact their provider (before we get started) to make sure they cover registered social workers, and what percentage-some only cover a certain amount, or require you to pay up front then submit a receipt.

Also! Free mental health and Addictions services can be accessed through Nova Scotia Health, information on their intake procedure can found here:

Treatment Reflections & Suggestions
We're on the same team-helping you get ahead in lifel! At the same time, maybe I'm missing some information on how to get you there faster!

Maybe send me a check-in after you get home from your appointment, so we can both recognize what stuck with you/reinforce a new piece of learning?
Or maybe a question popped in your mind which slipped your mind in the session-let me know, maybe I can get some resources together before your next time?
Maybe your mind has been swimming from new ideas, and you want to bounce a few off me before your next session? Maybe looking for a quick resource to help you get over some speedbumps?

Did something go really well in a session we had at some point? Did I say something upsetting? These are the bits of information which frustrate me the most, because if I don't know what I need to improve on...how can I address it and maybe get us back on the road?

I'm ethically and professionally required to work on self-improvement, and if there's anything I'm doing right which I should do more of, or anything I should correct, I promise I want to know! Thanks!
