My #1 Recommendation For Making Our Way Through a Pandemic (Where We Are Now, and Whatever Comes!)

In a word, I’m going to go with “routines.” If I had 2 words, I’d say “regular habits.” Especially ones which we can keep going for days, weeks, months or years, no matter what the world throws at us.

These can be tiny, things we beat ourselves up for not doing. Maybe brushing your teeth, or making sure there are clean clothes every morning, or having a healthy bedtime routine-everyone has their own favourite little “Shameful Whups-I-Dropped-the-Ball-There”s.

Maybe it’s something more long-term, like becoming more confident with how well you’re using your money, or retirement goals. Maybe that’s learning a new skill, instrument or language…or more time with your kids…or maybe you’re quilting a blanket for that new baby on the way!

Maybe you’re a teenager, and you can build better skills for getting through those intense feelings you’re *convinced* no one else has. Maybe get more confidence speaking up for yourself…or learning how to keep some words to yourself, because you’re getting past the need for others to approve of what your heart tells you. Maybe you can build stronger relationships with your friends, or build up your love life.

(Happy Valentine’s Day btw, for anyone celebrating! Or if you’re the opposite-of-celebrating, maybe you can practice kindness and patience for yourself, if this day isn’t what you would *really* want it to be!)

My point is, even when the world seems sad, and hard, and scary-as it does to all of us, every now and then- there’s nothing stopping us from still moving towards the kind of life you want to have.

I love this free resource, to maybe keep your mind thinking about these kinds of ideas, or giving something like this a try!
